Bears Score 3-2 Win Over Kansas City

Brew City right-hander Maximillion Porter helped his team edge Kansas City by the score of 3-2. Porter kept the opposing lineup in check. With the victory, the Bears upped their record to 40-34.
Brew City designated hitter Cliff Plante contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the third. With two down, he hit a fastball into left field for a run-scoring single. It was his 60th hit of the season and put the Bears ahead, 3-0.
"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Porter.
