Anchorage starter Pass put a stranglehold on the Kansas City offense. The right-hander had complete command of his circle change in leading the Wheelers to a 1-0 win. Joe Random was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 10 of 11 save opportunities. With the win, Anchorage pushed its record to 50-25.
Cassius Considerations, the 20-year old center fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Considerations contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put Anchorage up, 1-0.
"I felt we were ready to go," said Anchorage manager . "Our pregame was pretty good."
