Diego Ramieriez was a vital contributor to the 3-2 State College victory over Puerto Rico. The Swift Steeds shortstop was 3 for 3 with 3 singles and a walk. He scored 2 runs. The win belongs to Shaq Itoff in relief. His record improves to 1-2. Harry Berry took the loss for Puerto Rico. The victory puts State College at 29-46.
The Swift Steeds procured the win, in large part because of second baseman Bageshwari Singh. In the bottom of the tenth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring double.
"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Ramieriez said.
