The Amarillo Armadillos defeated the Brew City Bears, 4-0, in Minor League PBE action at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House. Amarillo pitcher Zoe D'yak had a standout performance. Amarillo leads the West Division by 5½ games.

Amarillo used the bat of Bill Slamsquatch to capture the win. The first baseman jacked a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Armadillos ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a dandy.

D'yak told a Amarillo Today reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
