Garbanzo Wins Legends Player of the Week Honors Monday, September 14th , 2071 A battle-tested Xorge Garbanzo declared war on opposing pitchers last week, attacking the ball like the well-schooled veteran he is. Today the 34-year-old Outer Banks first baseman collected the Legends Conference Player of the Week Award. He wrapped up the week with a .455 average, 10 hits in 22 at-bats, 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and 6 runs scored.
