Xavier Grabs Champions Reliever of the Year Award Friday, October 23rd , 2071 The Champions Conference Reliever of the Year Award for 2071 has been bestowed on Death Valley Scorpions relief specialist Ray Xavier. The 28-year-old bullpen ace, out of Würzburg, Germany, nailed down the award with 18 saves in 52 relief appearances, 98 strikeouts in 71.2 innings and a record of 3 wins and 6 losses to go with his 2.01 ERA. Bandit Keith of the Death Valley Scorpions finished second in voting, while Thorne Belfour of the Detroit Demons finished third. |
