Cancun Second Baseman Nets Champions Award Monday, June 20th , 2050 Vladimir Batista of the Cancun Toros was locked in all week as he bullied the pitchers he faced. Batista put up some great numbers and hauled in the Champions Conference Player of the Week trophy. He hit .667 with 2 home runs and 7 RBIs. The 27-year-old second baseman also scored 8 runs and for the week went 12-for-18. This season Batista has hit at a .350 clip with 35 RBIs, 13 home runs and 38 runs scored. He has played in 46 games. |
