In May he impressed the sportswriters with his domination of league hitters. Holliday made 0 starts, registered 2 wins and no losses with a solid 1.02 ERA. In 17.2 innings he allowed 11 hits, racked up 19 strikeouts, walked 10 and permitted teams to hit .177 against him. |
