Legends Choice for Batter of the Month is McDaniel Monday, July 1st , 2069 Shrimp McDaniel battered Legends Conference pitchers all June and wound up taking home the Batter of the Month Award. "I've been around Pro Baseball Experience long enough to know you really have to work hard day in and day out to be able to put up this kind of consistency," the 29-year-old McDaniel told reporters. "I put in a lot of work, even on the days I might not take the field, and it's always nice when everything comes together for me like it did this last month." In 22 games, McDaniel hit .352 with 6 home runs, 23 RBIs and scored 16 runs. For the season McDaniel is currently batting .311 with 11 home runs and 43 RBIs. In 54 games he has reached base at a .366 rate and scored 34 runs to date. |
