August's Top Newcomer Picked by Legends Sunday, September 1st , 2058 Otijomyzarc Kove's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Providence shortstop has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In August he was voted the Rookie of the Month. During the month he hit .276 with 7 doubles, no triples and 2 home runs. Kove also scored 15 times and drove in 8 runs. This season Kove is swinging the bat at a .253 rate with 92 hits in 363 at-bats. To date he has hit 2 home runs, scored 37 runs and driven in 33. |
