Outer Banks Starter Named Legends's #1 Pitcher Saturday, July 1st , 2062 The Legends Conference hitters didn't have a chance in June when the Outer Banks Aviators manager wrote "Hangman" on the lineup card. Outing after outing, Adam Hangman held teams in check and usually got a win. He excelled with a 4-1 mark and 1.14 ERA in 6 starts. The talented Aviators star pitched 39.1 innings, fanned 41 and held opposing teams to a .164 average. For his superb mound work Hangman was named the Legends Pitcher of the Month by the baseball writers. In 14 starts this season, Hangman has picked up 5 wins while suffering 4 losses. He has pitched 90.1 innings, allowed 71 hits, struck out 93 and posted a 2.29 ERA. |
