Ruiz on Fire, 5-for-6 Against Toronto Wednesday, July 17th , 2069 It was a big day for Leonidas Ruiz and he brought the Detroit Demons along for the ride. Ruiz led his club to a 15-2 victory over the Toronto Pathfinders today at Demon's Lair at Laser Park, smoking Toronto pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. The 32-year-old catcher later called the victory "sweet." Leonidas Ruiz doubled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a three-run double in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Rory Whittaker in the 7th and struck out in the 8th.
