Tegge Goes Downtown 3 Times Against Vandals Tuesday, July 25th , 2073 New York third baseman Nolan Tegge blasted three homers at The Thunderdome in the 9-4 Voyagers victory over the Vancouver Vandals. For the game, Nolan Tegge scored 4 times and knocked in 3 runs. When he hit his last home run, his teammates, hearing the crack of the bat, leaped off the bench and rushed on the field to greet the jubilant Tegge when he reached home plate. "It was just one game, but it sure was a lot of fun -- 4-for-5, three roundtrippers and a win," a gleeful Tegge told BNN reporters in a postgame interview. "What a day." Nolan Tegge hit a solo-shot off Andy Beans in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Darren Clapp in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Darren Clapp in the 8th. So far this year, Tegge is batting .269 with 19 home runs and 53 RBIs. |
