de Vries Fashions No-Hitter Against Voyagers Friday, August 4th , 2073 It was a fantastic day for Seattle Sea Serpents starter Ivy de Vries and a lousy day for the New York Voyagers. The Seattle hurler's pitching artistry completely befuddled and bewildered the Voyagers, as the Sea Serpents cruised to a 5-0 win. When it was all over, de Vries was credited with one of the rarer feats in baseball -- a no-hitter. "The ball was moving and darting, and best of all, going where I wanted it to go," de Vries said later. He rang up 10 strikeouts and allowed 2 walks while shutting New York down at The Aquadome.
