Garbanzo Goes 5-for-6 Thursday, May 26th , 2067 It was a hits blitz for Xorge Garbanzo at The Power House today. The Outer Banks Aviators second baseman tore into the Buffalo Surge for 5 hits in 6 at-bats, but it wasn't enough to win the game. The Surge swept past the Aviators 9-8 to ruin Garbanzo's day. "We weren't locating our pitches well," Outer Banks manager explained after the game. "Once you get behind in the count, you have to make really good pitches, rather than pretty good pitches, and we weren't able to do that today. Getting 5 hits from Xorge was nice but it wasn't enough." Xorge Garbanzo singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Sasha Sinitarraa in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and flied out in the 10th.
