Aviators Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Tuesday, August 29th , 2073 The Outer Banks Aviators have a new opponent: mathematics. The Aviators still have games to play in their disappointing 2073 campaign, but the numbers say they won't mean much -- the Aviators were today mathematically eliminated from qualifying for the postseason. Outer Banks last appeared in the postseason in 2070. This is their 3rd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 34 times in their 57-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Aviators have missed the playoffs 3 times. Outer Banks last won the World Series in 2065. |
