Providence Season Won't Continue in Playoffs Friday, September 1st , 2073 It certainly could have been worse this year for the Providence Crabs, but that does not mean it was a season to remember. The team was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. The Crabs have missed the playoffs 27 times in their 57 years as a Pro Baseball Experience franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 6th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2067. In the last 10 seasons, the Crabs have made the playoffs 6 times. Providence has won the World Series 2 times in their history. |
