Jones Shuts Out Boise, 4-0 Saturday, September 2nd , 2073 Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Boise Raptors as starter Wombat Jones shut them out, 4-0, at The Island. The Outer Banks pitcher struck out 5 and walked 3 while allowing 3 hits. "Jones was good but he wasn't flawless," Boise manager said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Outer Banks, but this is on us."
