Super Week for Detroit's Dollarson! Monday, September 11th , 2073 Detroit fans have something to crow about today as Detroit third baseman Danger Dollarson nabbed the Champions Conference Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Dollarson. He posted a .478 average (11-for-23) this past week with 3 home runs, 4 RBIs, and 5 runs scored. This season, Dollarson has posted a batting average of .296 with 134 hits in 453 at-bats, 19 home runs and 70 RBIs. He has also scored 68 runs, walked 31 times and compiled a .341 OBP. |
