Gloves Found, Guile Rejoices Tuesday, September 19th , 2073 A while back we brought you the story of the poor Detroit Demons's designated hitter who was honestly devastated by the loss of his lucky college batting gloves. Today, the gloves suddenly turned up in the strangest of places. Said teammate, Strider, "I found them in my underwear drawer...seriously. As soon as I found them, I got them back to Dazen. I didn't even ask for a finder's fee and besides, I couldn't wait to get rid of them - they really stank." No details on how the gloves got in Strider's underwear drawer and perhaps that is for the best. For his part, Dazen Guile was ecstatic. Telling the Detroit Daily, "I put them on right away - it felt so good to have them back. I can't wait to get back out there and face pitching again with these on." |
