Keli 6-for-7 for Apex Tuesday, April 24th , 2074 It's not something you read about in the sports pages every day -- a 6-for-7 day. For many, it might come around only once in a career -- and for Kerry Keli, it came around today. The 32-year-old first baseman scattered hits all over The Aquadome to pace the 9-7 Indianapolis Apex victory over the Seattle Sea Serpents. Seattle skipper told reporters in the press room that "Keli deserves a hat-tip." "He hit some good pitches against us," he said. "In fact, according to our scouting reports, Keli hit several that he is not supposed to be able to hit." Kerry Keli singled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, doubled in the 8th, hit an RBI single in the 9th, struck out in the 11th and hit a two-run home run off Lilo Pelekai in the 13th.
