Champions Player of the Week, Warsmoke of Indianapolis Monday, May 14th , 2074 Indianapolis fans have something to crow about today as Indianapolis designated hitter Commander Warsmoke nabbed the Champions Conference Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Warsmoke. He posted a .522 average (12-for-23) this past week with 1 home run, 5 RBIs, and 5 runs scored. Thus far this season in 18 games, Warsmoke is batting .378 with 2 home runs, 12 RBIs and 14 runs scored. He has 28 hits in 74 at-bats. |
