Hitting Streak Still Alive for Hidari Tuesday, August 13th , 2069 The New York Voyagers fell to the Toronto Pathfinders in Vaughn's House today, even as 25-year-old first baseman Matsui Hidari upped his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games. Hidari finished with 1 hit in 3 at-bats, but could not stop the Voyagers from dropping the 5-3 decision. "Yeah, I kept my streak going, but it would have been better to come away with a win," said Hidari. Matsui Hidari walked in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th.
