Goldberg Wins Champions Honor Monday, July 30th , 2074 What's in a number? In baseball, just about everything. The numbers that Indianapolis's Brent Goldberg put up last week were the envy of the league, as Goldberg came away with Champions Conference Player of the Week honors. He belted out 10 hits in 20 at-bats, no home runs and 6 RBIs last week as he posted his .500 batting average. Currently Goldberg is batting .331 with 7 home runs and 36 RBIs. |
