Dawson III Wins Legends's Best Bat Trophy Saturday, September 1st , 2074 Peter Dawson III, the Toronto first baseman, certainly made a name for himself this past month. He banged out a .312 batting average with 30 hits, 9 home runs, 25 RBIs and scored 14 times. That kind of hitting earned him the Legends Conference Batter of the Month honors for August. This season, Dawson III is swinging the bat at a .323 rate with 120 hits in 372 at-bats. To date he has hit 26 home runs, scored 60 runs and driven in 82. |
