Scorpions Capture Champions Conference West Saturday, September 15th , 2074 Let loose, Death Valley fans, your team has won the Champions Conference West. The Death Valley Scorpions have officially captured the crown, the 24th in franchise history. "We've got a team that can do it all and we think do it just as well as anyone in the league," said catcher Daniel Plainview. "I hope no one is taking us lightly once the playoffs start." Certainly the team's division crown will garner them a fair bit of respect, as the 63-44 record puts the club in position for the franchise's 11th Pro Baseball Experience championship. "You never get tired of being in the playoffs," said the team's manager. "This is what you play for." |
