Dog Extends Hit Streak to 32 Games Wednesday, May 8th , 2075 Summuh Dog, third baseman for the New York Voyagers, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 32 games with 1 hit in his club's 3-2 victory over the Buffalo Surge at Vaughn's House. "I don't really know why it's even happening," he said with a grin after the game. "So asking me how long I can keep it up is kind of irrelevant. It'll end when it ends." Summuh Dog struck out in the 1st, struck out in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and singled in the 8th. This season, Dog has hit at a .371 clip and produced 5 RBI, no home runs and 8 runs. |
