Rosenthal Keeps Hit Streak Alive Friday, May 24th , 2075 The Indianapolis Apex fell to the Seattle Sea Serpents in The Aquadome, even as 30-year-old catcher Leon Rosenthal upped his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games. Rosenthal finished with 2 hits in 4 at-bats, but could not stop the Apex from dropping the 3-1 decision. "Yeah, I kept my streak going, but it would have been better to come away with a win," said Rosenthal. Leon Rosenthal grounded out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th and singled in the 8th. So far this season, Rosenthal is hitting .318 with 2 home runs. |
