5-for-5 Day for Munson Friday, May 24th , 2075 Michael Munson exploded for a barrage of base hits at Full Moon Stadium. The Nashville catcher had a field day in his team's 12-6 triumph over the New Orleans Rougarous, finishing 5-for-5. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Munson must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Michael Munson singled in the 2nd, hit a three-run triple in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Antonio Abner in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Looking at his stats this year, Munson has compiled a .400 batting average, while hitting 9 home runs and driving in 32 runs. He has played in 27 games and scored 20 runs.
