Great Week for Detroit's Biff Slamous Monday, May 27th , 2075 When it came to hitting the baseball, Biff Slamous was in a class by himself in the Champions Conference this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding catcher for Detroit tagged opposing pitchers for a .409 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 9 hits in 22 at-bats, 3 homers, 4 runs scored and 9 RBIs. Thus far this season in 28 games, Slamous is batting .298 with 6 home runs, 19 RBIs and 13 runs scored.
