Detroit Snaps Rosenthal Streak at 21 Monday, May 27th , 2075 Leon Rosenthal's sizzling hitting streak was snapped at 21 games, as the Indianapolis Apex dropped their contest with the Detroit Demons, 5-4, at Demon's Lair at Laser Park. Rosenthal failed to get a hit, finishing 0-for-3. After the game Rosenthal spoke with BNN and called his effort "quite a streak." "I just ran into some good pitching today," he said. So far this season, Rosenthal is batting .305 with 2 home runs, 16 RBIs and 18 runs scored. He has 36 hits in 118 at-bats, 11 walks and a .362 OBP. Rosenthal has played in 29 games. |
