Boucher Stretches Hit String to 20 Sunday, June 16th , 2075 AJ Boucher has been ripping hits every day for a while now, and nobody seems able to stop him. The New Orleans second baseman picked up 2 more today against the Indianapolis Apex and now has a 20-game hitting streak. The Rougarous won the game, 7-4. "Definitely somebody's going to stop me at some point," he said later, chuckling. "I'll enjoy it for the time being." AJ Boucher flied out in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, struck out in the 8th, singled in the 10th and flied out in the 12th. This year, Boucher has hit at a .375 clip with 36 RBIs, 10 home runs and 27 runs scored. |
