Mackinlay Wins Champions Honor Monday, August 5th , 2075 When it came to hitting the baseball, Edward Mackinlay was in a class by himself in the Champions Conference this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding left fielder for Indianapolis tagged opposing pitchers for a .417 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 10 hits in 24 at-bats, 2 homers, 5 runs scored and 6 RBIs. Thus far this year, Mackinlay has hit .255 with 11 home runs and 42 RBIs. |
