August's Best Hurler in Legends is Swishman Sunday, September 1st , 2075 There was little doubt around the Legends Conference that J.C. Swishman would be awarded Pitcher of the Month honors for August. Today, they made it official, naming the 32-year-old Buffalo Surge starter the latest honoree. He thoroughly dominated the hitters who stood in against him, holding them to a .182 batting average while fashioning a 1.94 ERA in 6 starts. His record for the month was 4-1 in 46.1 innings of work. On the season, Swishman has compiled a 12-9 mark with a 2.61 ERA in 25 starts. In pitching 182.2 innings he has 149 strikeouts and 41 walks while limiting the opposition to a .218 batting average. |
