Nashville Starter Named Champions's #1 Pitcher Sunday, September 1st , 2075 Warren Peace of Nashville had an award-winning August as he took home the Champions Conference Pitcher of the Month award. "He told me once people used to make fun of the way he pitches," Peace's pitching coach told reporters. "There wasn't anybody laughing in August except for Warren." Peace was all business when he took the mound though, collecting a 5-1 record in 6 starts. He struck out 42 batters in 40.1 innings and kept opponents to a .207 batting average. In 24 starts this season, Peace has compiled a 10-7 record and a 3.53 ERA. |
