Apex Win Tight Champions Conference East Race Sunday, September 15th , 2075 For the 11th time in franchise history, the Indianapolis Apex are champions of the Champions Conference East. It was all triumphant shouts and high-fives in the Indianapolis clubhouse when the clinch became official, with much optimism about the club's chances in the playoffs. "From the start of spring training this is where you envision yourself being," said starting pitcher Calm Chicken. "Playing for a chance to win the World Series is what it's all about and we think we're going to get it done." The club currently has a 54-53 and will be looking to capture the 5th World Series championship in franchise history. |
