Legends Announces Rookie of the Year Award Sunday, October 20th , 2075 It's a rarity when someone out of the bullpen gets the call for the Legends Conference Rookie of the Year Award, but that's what happened today as Outer Banks reliever Joseph Mathys Hendry earned the trophy for 2075. The 23-year-old relief specialist for the Aviators made 50 relief appearances, tossing 88 innings with 73 strikeouts and 37 walks. Mathys Hendry compiled a 5-3 won-lost mark and a 3.38 ERA. The Outer Banks relief ace saved 8 games and held opponents to a .257 average. Crazy Tomato III of the Vancouver Vandals finished second in voting, while Player To Be Named Later of the San Antonio Sloths finished third. |
