Legends Trophy Goes to Payne of New York Monday, May 11th , 2076 What's in a number? In baseball, just about everything. The numbers that New York's Brian Payne put up last week were the envy of the league, as Payne came away with Legends Conference Player of the Week honors. He belted out 11 hits in 25 at-bats, 2 home runs and 8 RBIs last week as he posted his .440 batting average. For the year, Payne is batting .389 with 4 home runs, 16 RBIs and 12 runs scored. |
