The Outer Banks Aviators today were officially eliminated from postseason contention. Before this season, the Aviators had made the playoffs 6 times in a row. In the 53 years they have been a Pro Baseball Experience franchise, they have missed the playoffs 31 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Aviators have missed the playoffs 3 times.
