Champions Star of the Week Honored Monday, June 22nd , 2076 Lunar Base fans have something to crow about today as Lunar Base first baseman Link Althouse nabbed the Champions Conference Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Althouse. He posted a .571 average (12-for-21) this past week with no home runs, 2 RBIs, and 4 runs scored. Althouse is currently batting .316 with 3 home runs, 22 runs scored and 13 RBIs. His OBP is .380. |
