Jones Takes Best Bat Award in August Tuesday, September 1st , 2076 Curtis Jones, the Outer Banks catcher, certainly made a name for himself this past month. He banged out a .358 batting average with 34 hits, 9 home runs, 19 RBIs and scored 18 times. That kind of hitting earned him the Legends Conference Batter of the Month honors for August. This year, Jones has 25 home runs and a .299 batting average. |
