Super Swinger -- Mackinlay Slams 6 Hits Thursday, September 10th , 2076 No matter what the Nashville Stars threw at him, Edward Mackinlay hit it. He easily handled Stars pitching, going 6 for 6 and helping the Apex triumph, 10-6, at Gibson Soundstage. "The way I was swinging, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Mackinlay's quip, Stars skipper said he "would take him up on that next time." Edward Mackinlay hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
