Rookie of the Year Crowned in Champions Thursday, October 22nd , 2076 In his first year in the league, Brian Eshleman III paid huge dividends on his club's financial investment. He captured the 2076 Champions Conference Rookie of the Year Award for his spectacular season. The New Orleans rookie phenom started 27 games, tossed 161.2 innings and chalked up a 7-13 record. Eshleman III struck out 131 batters, walked 63 and held opponents to a .262 batting average while compiling a 4.29 ERA. Tiernan O'Malrain of the Cancun Toros finished second in voting, while Jimmy Lumber of the Nashville Stars finished third. |
