Nerd Snares Champions Rookie of the Year Award Monday, October 21st , 2069 Alpha Nerd turned a lot of heads in Champions Conference circles this season, putting together a solid rookie campaign. Today he claimed the Champions Rookie of the Year Award. The 27-year-old Detroit first baseman played in 108 games, hitting .283 with 25 home runs, 78 RBIs and scoring 50 runs. Commander Warsmoke of the Seattle Sea Serpents finished second in voting, while Mac John of the Nashville Stars finished third. |
