Innings-Eater Befuddles Lunar Base in 3-0 San Antonio Win Friday, July 16th , 2077 The Lunar Base Space Rangers were almost helpless in their 3-0 loss to the San Antonio Sloths and hurler Chad Innings-Eater. Innings-Eater kept the Space Rangers confused all game, spinning a 4-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Innings-Eater," Lunar Base manager said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 29-year-old right-hander had no walks and 9 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Innings-Eater said.
