Crag Wins Champions Player of the Week Trophy Monday, July 19th , 2077 Lunar Base fans have something to crow about today as Lunar Base third baseman Durian Crag nabbed the Champions Conference Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Crag. He posted a .611 average (11-for-18) this past week with 1 home run, 2 RBIs, and 7 runs scored. This season, Crag has hit 9 home runs and posted a .259 batting average. |
