Great Stroke: Lavine Gets 5 Hits Saturday, July 24th , 2077 It was a big day for C.J. Lavine and he brought the Nashville Stars along for the ride. Lavine led his club to victory, 8-7, over the New Orleans Rougarous at Full Moon Stadium, smoking New Orleans pitching for 5 hits in 7 at-bats. The 28-year-old second baseman later called the victory "sweet." C.J. Lavine singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 6th, flied out in the 7th, singled in the 10th and struck out in the 11th.
