New Orleans Snaps Misteur Streak at 21 Tuesday, July 27th , 2077 The Death Valley Scorpions lost to the New Orleans Rougarous, 5-0, at Cari Price Memorial Stadium, but perhaps the bigger news was the end of Melo Misteur's 21-game hitting streak. The center fielder went 0-for-4 on the day. "We felt if we could slow down Misteur, we would win the game," Rougarous manager explained. "They really seemed to feed off his streak, so we tried to put more emphasis on shutting him down."
