Indianapolis's Fernandez Jr. Champions #1 Batter in July Sunday, August 1st , 2077 For a rookie just breaking in, Dee Fernandez Jr. certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the Champions Batter of the Month award for July. The 26-year-old second baseman for the Indianapolis Apex hit .299 with 9 home runs, 26 RBIs and 24 runs scored. So far this year, Fernandez Jr. has hit .260 with 17 home runs, 55 RBIs and 67 runs scored. |
