Champions's Best Starter is Pruitt Sunday, August 1st , 2077 Xavier Pruitt really strutted his stuff in July with 3 wins and no losses and walked off with the Pitcher of the Month Award in the Champions Conference. The Seattle starter was good news for his club, but bad news for the opposition. In 32.1 innings of work, Pruitt limited opposing batters to 28 base hits and a .233 batting average. He totaled 30 strikeouts, issued 16 walks and had a 2.78 ERA. Thus far this season, Pruitt has worked 111.2 innings with 88 strikeouts en route to a 8-4 record and a 5.00 ERA. |
